Janie Petramala is a fierce barrel racing and Team roping competitor from La Junta CO. During her 30 years of competition as a calf roper, team roper she has won numerous awards including, IFCA World Champion Team Roper (heeler), numerous State Championships. Currently, her focus on barrel racing takes her to 44 events a year. Janie hauls her horses EASY JET FOOLS GOLD, a 7 YO palomino gelding and CR WHIZZEN, a 4 YO grey gelding, over 20,000 miles a year in her Exiss 3 horse trailer with living quarters.
When Janie isn’t competing she is a commodity distribution specialist overseeing dietary and veterinary needs on her family’s feedlot. If anyone would know the effects of stress on animals, she would. Janie had the same complaints we have all heard, tremendous heat in the trailer, the air conditioner runs and runs and runs. The horses are always hot and cranky after any time in the trailer. That was until we coated her trailer with Temp-Coat®.
